It achieved a price of USD 138,000.00 (€ 147,941.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Richard Lorenz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Last Farewell, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 504,000.00 (€ 469,667.32).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 138.000,00 (€ 147.941,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Für andere Arbeiten von Richard Lorenz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Last Farewell beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 504.000,00 (€ 469.667,32) versteigert wurde.
