Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mounted Cowboy and Pack Horse by Richard Lorenz was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2015. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,586.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Lorenz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Last Farewell in May last year with an auction result of USD 504,000.00 (€ 469,667.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mounted Cowboy and Pack Horse von Richard Lorenz wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.586,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Lorenz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Last Farewell im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 504.000,00 (€ 469.667,32).
