Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Untitled Screenprints by Richard Hunt was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Boston in January 2024. The price achieved of USD 1,216.00 (€ 1,062.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wing Bloom in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 119,000.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Untitled Screenprints von Richard Hunt kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Skinner Boston zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.216,00 (€ 1.062,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Hunt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wing Bloom im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 119.000,60).
