Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Richard Hunt could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Boston in January 2024 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Photographs auction, the work Two Untitled Lithographs changed hands for USD 768.00 (€ 671.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wing Bloom in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 119,000.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Richard Hunt konnte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Skinner Boston für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Two Untitled Lithographs für USD 768,00 (€ 671,21) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Hunt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wing Bloom im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 119.000,60).
