Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2024 Bonhams in Skinner Boston held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work Two Untitled Lithographs by Richard Hunt. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,048.00 (€ 1,789.90). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wing Bloom in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 119,000.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Skinner Boston die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Untitled Lithographs von Richard Hunt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.048,00 (€ 1.789,90) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Hunt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wing Bloom im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 119.000,60).
