Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2024 Bonhams in Skinner Boston held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work Two Lithographs including: Landscape I and Untitled by Richard Hunt. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,664.00 (€ 1,454.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Hunt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wing Bloom in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 119,000.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Skinner Boston die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Lithographs including: Landscape I and Untitled von Richard Hunt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.664,00 (€ 1.454,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Hunt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Wing Bloom im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 119.000,60).
