In May 2010 Christies in Milan held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Senza titolo by Riccardo Licata. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,450.00 69% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Riccardo Licata; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Senza titolo sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of EUR 13,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 69 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von Riccardo Licata zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.450,00 und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Riccardo Licata; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Senza titolo im Mai 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 13.000,00.
