Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Hunting Pink by Reza Derakshani was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Christies in Dubai in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,880.00 (€ 44,940.87), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Reza Derakshani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Hunting Pink von Reza Derakshani wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 44.940,87) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reza Derakshani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 194.029,85).
