Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunset Hunting by Reza Derakshani was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Christies in Paris in November this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 43,801.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reza Derakshani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunset Hunting von Reza Derakshani wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 43.801,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reza Derakshani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 194.029,85).
