Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Blue Hunting by Reza Derakshani was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 44,678.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Reza Derakshani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Blue Hunting von Reza Derakshani wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 44.678,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Reza Derakshani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 221.000,00 (€ 194.029,85).
