Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Khosrow and Shirin by Reza Derakshani was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 12,750.00 (€ 14,774.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reza Derakshani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 221,000.00 (€ 194,029.85).
