The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,448.65) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reynolds Beal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marblehead Races in December 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 52,962.03).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reynolds Beal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marblehead Races im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.700,00 (€ 52.962,03).
