Auction result well in line with expectations
The work San Francisco Bay sight 10 1/4 x 14 in. framed 18 x 21 3/4 in. by Reynolds Beal was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 768.00 (€ 704.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reynolds Beal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marblehead Races in December 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 52,962.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit San Francisco Bay sight 10 1/4 x 14 in. framed 18 x 21 3/4 in. von Reynolds Beal wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 768,00 (€ 704,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reynolds Beal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marblehead Races im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.700,00 (€ 52.962,03).
