It achieved a price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,593.89), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Reynolds Beal achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marblehead Races in December 2004 with an auction result of USD 71,700.00 (€ 52,962.03).

Die Arbeit York Harbor & Port Washington: A Pair Of Works von Reynolds Beal kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.593,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Reynolds Beal erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marblehead Races im Dezember 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 71.700,00 (€ 52.962,03).
