Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Charles River Basin by Reynolds Beal for USD 11,875.00 (€ 8,433.35). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house.
