Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus by Ren Zhong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 1,000,000.00 (€ 121,856.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ren Zhong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven Sages in September 2013 with an auction result of CNY 8,850,000.00 (€ 1,068,407.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus von Ren Zhong kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.000.000,00 (€ 121.856,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ren Zhong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seven Sages im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 8.850.000,00 (€ 1.068.407,83).
