The work Xizhi Loves Goose by Ren Zhong was auctioned at China Guardian in October this year. It achieved a price of HKD 86,400.00 (€ 10,448.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 44%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Zhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven Sages in September 2013 with an auction result of CNY 8,850,000.00 (€ 1,068,407.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Xizhi Loves Goose von Ren Zhong kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 86.400,00 (€ 10.448,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 44%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Zhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven Sages im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 8.850.000,00 (€ 1.068.407,83).
