A top price for Ren Zhong
This artwork by Ren Zhong achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Beijing in September 2013. In the Sotheby's Charity Auction - Ai You Reborn auction, the work Seven Sages sold for CNY 8,850,000.00 (€ 1,068,407.83) - well above the upper estimate of CNY 3,800,000.00. This high result makes Seven Sages the most expensive artwork by Ren Zhong that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ren Zhong erzielte im September 2013 bei Sothebys in Beijing einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
