The work Visiting In Yanxi by Ren Zhong was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art auction at Sothebys in Beijing in December 2015. It achieved a price of CNY 531,000.00 (€ 75,500.87), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ren Zhong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seven Sages in September 2013 with an auction result of CNY 8,850,000.00 (€ 1,068,407.83).

Die Arbeit Visiting In Yanxi von Ren Zhong wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Art bei Sothebys in Beijing versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CNY 531.000,00 (€ 75.500,87) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ren Zhong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seven Sages im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 8.850.000,00 (€ 1.068.407,83).
