In the Majestic America: Property from an Important Western Collector, Part II auction, the work Watching The Flock changed hands for USD 9,450.00 (€ 8,047.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ray Swanson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Headin' Through Dry Country in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 97,000.00 (€ 62,339.33).
