Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pueblo Girl by Ray Swanson was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 1,408.00 (€ 1,290.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ray Swanson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Headin' Through Dry Country in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 97,000.00 (€ 62,339.33).

Die Arbeit Pueblo Girl von Ray Swanson kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.408,00 (€ 1.290,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ray Swanson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Headin' Through Dry Country im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 97.000,00 (€ 62.339,33).
