In June 2017 VAN HAM held the auction Discoveries, which included the work Ohne Titel (Trifacta) by Ray Smith. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 516.00 29% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ray Smith achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work El chubasco (triptych) in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 14,100.00 (€ 16,676.52).

Im Juni 2017 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Discoveries durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Trifacta) von Ray Smith zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 516,00 und damit 29% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ray Smith erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit El chubasco (triptych) im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.100,00 (€ 16.676,52).
