It achieved a price of USD 7,560.00 (€ 7,174.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ray Metzker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composites: Tall Grove Of Nudes in April 2012 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 92,599.59).

Die Arbeit My Philadelphia! (01-AG-42) von Ray Metzker kam im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 7.560,00 (€ 7.174,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ray Metzker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composites: Tall Grove Of Nudes im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 92.599,59).
