Sold at the upper estimate price
In October 2011 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work (i) The Wisdom Attempting on Innocence (from the Games on the Window-Sills Series) (ii) Rather Poor Juda's Successors (from the Games on the Window-Sills Series) by Rauf Mamedov. The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,050.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Other works by Rauf Mamedov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March last year the work Pietà (5) was auctioned for EUR 5,040.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit (i) The Wisdom Attempting on Innocence (from the Games on the Window-Sills Series) (ii) Rather Poor Juda's Successors (from the Games on the Window-Sills Series) von Rauf Mamedov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.050,58) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Rauf Mamedov konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März letzten Jahres die Arbeit Pietà (5) für EUR 5.040,00 versteigert.
