This artwork by Raoul Dufy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in February 2014. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Scène De Café sold for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 60,662.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Raoul Dufy erzielte im Februar 2014 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Scène De Café für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 60.662,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
