The work Sales at Newmarket, England by Randall Davey was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,865.14), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Randall Davey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hialeah, Going To The Post, which sold at auction in April 2013 for USD 40,625.00 (€ 30,851.31).

Die Arbeit Sales at Newmarket, England von Randall Davey wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Western Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.865,14) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Randall Davey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hialeah, Going To The Post beobachtet, die im April 2013 für USD 40.625,00 (€ 30.851,31) versteigert wurde.
