Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Isabel in the Garden by Randall Davey. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,140.78). Admittedly, works by Randall Davey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hialeah, Going To The Post in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 40,625.00 (€ 30,851.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Isabel in the Garden von Randall Davey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.140,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Randall Davey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hialeah, Going To The Post im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 30.851,31).
