Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 5,875.00 (€ 6,932.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Randall Davey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hialeah, Going To The Post in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 40,625.00 (€ 30,851.31).

Die Arbeit Dirt Field von Randall Davey kam im Juni 2001 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 5.875,00 (€ 6.932,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Randall Davey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hialeah, Going To The Post im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.625,00 (€ 30.851,31).
