Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Asian Art, which included the work Taiwan by Ran In-Ting. The price achieved of HKD 175,000.00 (€ 20,593.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ran In-Ting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Taiwan von Ran In-Ting zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 175.000,00 (€ 20.593,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
