The work Sun Moon Lake by Ran In-Ting was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,781.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Ran In-Ting have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).

Die Arbeit Sun Moon Lake von Ran In-Ting kam im Mai 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.781,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
