The work Formosa by Ran In-Ting was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,935.27), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ran In-Ting achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fishing Boats by the Misty River in May 2010 with an auction result of HKD 800,000.00 (€ 83,111.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Formosa von Ran In-Ting kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.935,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ran In-Ting erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fishing Boats by the Misty River im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 800.000,00 (€ 83.111,00).
