Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ramsès Younan was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 40,000.00 – 6,000,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 170,500.00 (€ 204,655.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ramsès Younan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2019 the work Contre le mur was auctioned for USD 387,000.00 (€ 344,674.03).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ramsès Younan kam im Juni 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 6.000.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 170.500,00 (€ 204.655,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Ramsès Younan konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2019 die Arbeit Contre le mur für USD 387.000,00 (€ 344.674,03) versteigert.
