Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Egyptianuntitled (Abstract) by Ramsès Younan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,131.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ramsès Younan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Contre le mur in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 387,000.00 (€ 344,674.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Egyptianuntitled (Abstract) von Ramsès Younan kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.131,96) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ramsès Younan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Contre le mur im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 387.000,00 (€ 344.674,03).
