Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in Dubai held the auction Dubai: Post War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition No. 3 by Ramsès Younan. The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 40,584.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ramsès Younan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Contre le mur in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 387,000.00 (€ 344,674.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Dubai: Post War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition No. 3 von Ramsès Younan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 40.584,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ramsès Younan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Contre le mur im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 387.000,00 (€ 344.674,03).
