Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Composition by Ramsès Younan was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art auction at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,999.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ramsès Younan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Contre le mur in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 387,000.00 (€ 344,674.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Ramsès Younan wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including On The Banks of the NileA Journey Through Egyptian Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.999,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ramsès Younan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Contre le mur im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 387.000,00 (€ 344.674,03).
