Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study For "From The Bridge" by Ralston Crawford was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2009. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,540.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralston Crawford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flour Mill #2 in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 654,400.00 (€ 552,609.36).
