It achieved a price of USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,859.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ralston Crawford achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flour Mill #2 in December 2005 with an auction result of USD 654,400.00 (€ 552,609.36).

Die Arbeit Third Avenue Elevated #1 von Ralston Crawford wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Tales of the City: New York Prints and Photographs of the Early 20th Century bei Christies in Sydney versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.016,00 (€ 1.859,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%.
