Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rajendra Dhawan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,975.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Rajendra Dhawan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Repetitive Breathing in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 18,500.00 (€ 23,532.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rajendra Dhawan kam im Mai 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.975,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rajendra Dhawan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Repetitive Breathing im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.500,00 (€ 23.532,81).
