This artwork by Basoeki Abdullah achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2014. In the Modern Art auction, the work Indonesian Woman In Red sold for EUR 8,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Basoeki Abdullah achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gunung Salak (Mountain Salak) in May 2006 with an auction result of HKD 900,000.00 (€ 90,399.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Basoeki Abdullah erzielte im Juni 2014 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Indonesian Woman In Red für EUR 8.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Basoeki Abdullah erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Gunung Salak (Mountain Salak) im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 900.000,00 (€ 90.399,75).
