Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Qian Huafo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Amitayus sold for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,582.20) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Qian Huafo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Buddha sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Huafo erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Amitayus für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.582,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Qian Huafo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Buddha im April 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15).
