Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Dharma by Qian Huafo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 23,940.00 (€ 2,876.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Qian Huafo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buddha in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dharma von Qian Huafo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 23.940,00 (€ 2.876,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Huafo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buddha im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15).
