The work Buddha by Qian Huafo was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 29,500.00 (€ 3,368.50), 48% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Qian Huafo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buddha in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Buddha von Qian Huafo wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 29.500,00 (€ 3.368,50) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Huafo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buddha im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15).
