Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Qian Huafo achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2018. In the Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Buddha sold for HKD 96,760.00 (€ 10,895.32) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Qian Huafo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Buddha sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Huafo erzielte im Oktober 2018 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Buddha für HKD 96.760,00 (€ 10.895,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 40.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Qian Huafo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Buddha im April 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15).
