Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Amitabha by Qian Huafo was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney in April 2021. The price achieved of AUD 5,166.00 (€ 4,294.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Huafo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Amitabha von Qian Huafo kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Sydney zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 5.166,00 (€ 4.294,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Huafo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15) versteigert wurde.
