In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia, which included the work Buddha by Qian Huafo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 64,900.00 (€ 7,363.97), 62% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Qian Huafo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buddha, which sold at auction in April 2018 for HKD 153,400.00 (€ 16,186.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 62 % übertroffen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Important Collections of Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy from Asia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Buddha von Qian Huafo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 64.900,00 (€ 7.363,97) und damit 62% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Qian Huafo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buddha beobachtet, die im April 2018 für HKD 153.400,00 (€ 16.186,15) versteigert wurde.
