Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Visiting Friend With A Qin by Qian Du was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2019. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,153.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Du achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocky Cliffs in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 134,830.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Visiting Friend With A Qin von Qian Du wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy Including Property from the Chokaido Museum Collection bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.153,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Du erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocky Cliffs im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 134.830,43).
