Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Christies in Paris held the auction Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscapes by Qian Du. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 56,700.00 (€ 6,625.38). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Du achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocky Cliffs in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 134,830.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscapes von Qian Du zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 56.700,00 (€ 6.625,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Du erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocky Cliffs im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 134.830,43).
