Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings, which included the work Landscape After Ni Zan by Qian Du. The price achieved of HKD 302,400.00 (€ 33,493.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 240,000.00 – 400,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Du have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rocky Cliffs in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 134,830.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape After Ni Zan von Qian Du zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 33.493,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 240.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Du auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rocky Cliffs im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 134.830,43).
