Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Plum Blossoms by Qian Du was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 27,720.00 (€ 3,321.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 20,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Qian Du achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocky Cliffs in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 134,830.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Plum Blossoms von Qian Du kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 27.720,00 (€ 3.321,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 20.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Qian Du erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocky Cliffs im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 134.830,43).
