Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Qian Du achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Temple In The Autumn Mist sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 23,607.16) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Qian Du have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rocky Cliffs in October 2011 with an auction result of HKD 1,460,000.00 (€ 134,830.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Qian Du erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Temple In The Autumn Mist für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 23.607,16) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Qian Du auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rocky Cliffs im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.460.000,00 (€ 134.830,43).
